SOUTH GRISWOLD - The reporter attended the wedding nuptials ofRepresentative Stiles Curtis Ecclestone and Miss Nellie May Miner, onSunday, at Ashwillet. The ceremony took place at the residence of thebrides parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cortland P. Miner, and was beautifullyimpressively performed by Rev. C. Grant Savage, in the presence ofinvited guests, mostly immediate relatives of the family. After the amost bountiful repast was served to the happy company.
A hack from Norwich, Ct. conveyed the newly wedded pair to theAshwillet chapel, and there they listened to a masterly and scholarlysermon delivered by Rev. Mr. Savage. At the close of the service at thechapel, Mr. and Mrs. Ecclestone started for Norwich, and Monday went toNew York city, where they will stop for several days. They will return byway of Hartford. Our most hearty congratulations are extended to thenewly wedded couple. Long life and prosperity.

P. Wattles and C. G. sisson as perdeed dated Apr. 4, 1836, thence by and with viz, North 78 E by and withland formerly owned by William B. Hull and wife, Susan M. W. Hull, untilit comes to a mearstone, thence southerly to a mearstone standing onanother side of wall adjoining land formerly owned by William d. Miner,thence southerly and westerly by land formerly owned by William d. Minerto highway, thence northerly by highway to the first mentioned bound, itbeing part of the 20 acre lot before referred to which I purchased ofCharles G. Sisson and siad Sisson purchased of said L. Hull, being thesame premises convayed by deed from Alfred Miner to Dainel N. Frink ofdate Sept. 1, 1862, Vol. 8, page 537, excerting thereform this secondtract an acrea and one tenth of land sold by Daniel H.
