!Elizabeth's past is kind of sketchy. All we know is that Stephen died in 1834
and was buried in Union City, MI. In 1940 she is found living with her parents
and children in Newton Township, OH. I don't know if she went with Stephento
Michigan and came back to Ohio after he died or not. Then there is a marriage
record of an Elizabeth Olmsted marrying a John Jennings in March 1844 inNewton
Township. I can find no other information on her except I found her buried in
Union City, MI with her first husband Stephen. I can find no death record of a
Elizabeth Olmsted or Elizabeth Jennings in Michigan. I am still checking for a
death record in Ohio. She might have died there and her childrenshipped the
body to Michigan to be buried with Stephen.
