My Gardner N. Wilcox is buried in Poquetanuck (Preston), CT but whereis the other Gardner Wilcox and Nabby (Eccleston) Wilcox buried?
I did find a Gardner Wilcox buried in Richford, Tioga County, NY,but he died in 1898 at age 74, so he was born about 1824, (age 1, when myGardner was born).

"Weekly Telephone", Milton Junction, Thursday, Dec 28, 1893.
Died: of dropsy and heart failure on Christmas morning at herresidence, Mrs. Phebe Wilcox Saunders wife of Deacon TrumanSaunders, aged 72 years, 11 months 19 days.
It washoped that Mrs. Saunders would recover from her illness,but death came soon than was expected even by those who hadfears she might not recover. The diseasedwas a women of greatexecutive ability and possessed of a gifted and cultivatedmind.She was educated at Miss Willard's Female Seminary in Troy, N.Y. She wasmarried to Mr. Saunders in 1844. They moved to WestHallock, Ill., in 1854, where after 25 years of industry,economy and benevolence they accumulated a largeand valuableestate and reared and educated a family of six children five ofwhomare still living. She came here to reside over 14 yearsago, where through herconsistent christian life her activityand in every good cause a quite aeffectivuate demeanor, she hadendeared herself to the hearts of all. The church, theW.C.T.Uand the community realize they have lost a valuable member. Shedid notfear the approach of death, was living to live or die asbest pleased her beloved Father. She will be greatly missed byall, but what is Milton's loss is Heaven's gain.

Hazard Family: Stephen Wilcox, born about 1633, son of Edward Wilcox;died
about 1690; married 1658 Hannah Hazard. That year his father-in-lawdeeded him
34 acres as a dower for Hannah. Stephen was listed as an inhabitant ofWesterly
18 May 1669.

"Stephen Wilcox, son of Edward, was born in 1633 and died in 1690. He hada grant of 16 acres, Dec.10, 1657, and in 1657 from his father-in-law,Thomas Hazard, a deed of 30 acres as a dowery with the _____ daughter. Hewas a free man May 18, 1658. In May 1669, he was among the freeinhabitants of Westerly, RI. He was __________ (obliterated) June 21,1670 for unjustly possessing, with others, five hundred acres of land inStovington. This controversey, which resolved itself into a question ofboundary and jurisdiction between Mass. and R.I., continued for severalyears and was finally settled in favor of the latter state.
"In 167? and 167? he was _______ __ of the first from Westerly.
In a paper dated Feb. 6, 1690, he is mentioned as 'lately deceased'. In1648, he married Hannah, daughter of Thomas and Martha (-----) Hazard ofPortsmouth. Thom Hazard was a ship carpenter by trade and came from Walesto Boston about 1635. In the Hutchinson __________ he was driven fromMass. and settled upon Aquideeck."
