- W.T. Brigham, History of the Brigham Family, LDS FHC microfilm
1033775, item #3. Edmund Rice of Sudbury given as the husband of
Mercy Brigham, the "relict widdow of Thomas Brigham" in a deposition
regarding the sale of Watertown land of the late Thomas. Edmund and
family moved to Marlborough where he died 3 May 1663. He was buried
in Sudbury.
Edmund settled in Sudbury in 1638/9 and with wife Tamazine had
eight children.
Estate inventory totaled 556 pounds 0 shillings 7 pence. Petition
for division was filed by widow Mercy with eight elder and two
younger children.
