| Notes |
In King George's War, Noah was a drummer engaged in the attack on Lanisburg. He was killed in the highway, while returning from the pasture to which he had just driven his cows. A band of Indians, making a raid on the town, fired 4 or 5 shots at Noah, wounding him in the arm. He ran some distance, but was overtaken, tomahawked and scalped, the savages cutting off part of his skull in their haste.DEATH: Scalped.
