Was this baptism done as a sign of adoption by his stepfather, Nicholas. With the birth of Levi in December, Isaac's half-brother, perhaps Lydia developed health problems and to ensure a home for Isaac, he was adopted by Nicholas. Lydia eventually died in August of that year.
