Mary Rogness's - Third cousin 6 times removed
THE BROWN GENEALOGY, Vol. II, 1915, by Cyrus Henry Brown, pages 281.
Mr. Brown was a farmer, and in politics a Whig. He was a member ofthe Baptist Church, and his wife a member of the Episcopal Church. Thechildren all born at Richfield, New York in the house built in 1800 byJohn Brown and still in the possession of John Barown, son of Judson C.Brown.

Sources: Brown Genealogy; DAR record from a Washington, D.C., womanwho
joined the DAR via Peleg Brown.
DAR woman says her ancestor, John Brown, was born in 1775. B.G. saysin
1770. The former works better in lineup for children's births.
DAR lady says he married Sally Beardsley at Richfield, 1801. Shouldit be
Richfield Springs, which is close to West Winfield? Also RichfieldSprings as
 place of death?
