  OBIT: Lewis D. Corbin died at the Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet, on March 29, 1938, at the age of 78.He was the last of the pioneer Corbin family of Plainfield.Several nieces and nephews survive him. Among them are Mrs. Emma Hall and Miss Alice Sullivan of Clinton, MO. Mrs. Joseph Sonntag of Losa, California; Miss Luella Corbin of Denver, Colorado; and Mr. Leslie Holbrook of Batavia, Illinois.Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. E. W. Ward, at the Corbin home on Lincolnway on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment will be at the Plainfield Cemetery.
