 Chronicle Telegram - Elyria, OH - November 2, 1961
 
 Frederick William Tutthill, 96, of 228 Seventh St., died in the victorian Rest Home at 4:50 p.m. yesterday after a long illness.  Mr. Tutthill was born in London, England, May 21, 1865, and lived in Elyria 57 years.  He was a retired toolmaker and an Episcopalian.
 Surviving are a son, Fred E. Tutthill, Elyria; daughters, Mrs. Ralph E. Hancock, Mrs. Clarence W. Lawson, Mrs. Ralph H. Cheney and Miss Frances Tutthill, all of Elyria, and Mrs. Ernest Kindt, Lakewood; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  A brother, Henry D. Tutthill, and several nieces and nephews also survive.  His wife, Sarah A., died Sept. 12, 1938.
 Funeral services will be tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. in the Harold Dicken Funeral Home with Dr. G. Russel Hargate officiating, and burial will be in Ridgelawn Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 this evening.
