  He started life as a weaver in North Kingstown (1870) and live d in Ashaway, RI by 1877. He became a railroad engineer for th e New York, New Haven and Hartford railroad for over 40 years . They moved to Stonington Ct about 1878 andto New London by 1 900. He died in New London Ct on 30 june 1926, and she died the re on 12 December 1951. Both are buried in Jordan Mutual Cemete ry inWterford Ct. along with their adult children and their wiv es. Louis was bured with his aunt in Elm Grove.
