Filed Nov. 14, 1860 To the County Judge of the County of Schoharie: The Petition of Alfred W. Rowley of the townof Seward in the county of Schoharie respectfully showeth: That lately, andon or about the 24th day of September one thousand eight hundred and sixty, Demmon Rowley died at the town of Seward in the county of Schoharie, being atthe time of his death an inhabitant of said County: That the said deceased left a certain instrument in writing, purporting to be his last Will and Testament, bearing date the 22nd day of August A.D. 1857, and relates to both real and personal estate: Your Petitioner verily believes said instrument to bethe last Will and Testament of the said Demmon Rowley deceased, and that thesaid petitioner is a son of the said deceased and one of the executors namedin the will.
