In 1876, Consolidated Oyster Packing of Baltimore, Maryland purchased the Petty-Baldwin tract that encompassed Botany Avenue, West 14th Street, West 15th Street, and West 16th Street (all south of Denison Avenue. Trustee listed on the deed for this company was C.S. Maltby.
