John A. Naaf (1860-1901), owner of a large establishment called Naaf's Gardens.

Located conveniently at the Southeast corner of Selzer Avenue and West 25th St (just north of the Brooklyn-Brighton Bridge), the Inn served as a rest stop for farmers headed to market in Cleveland.
