Gebhard Kuchle
Gerbhard raised cows on his land. Kuchle's farm provided locals with dairy products such as milk, cream, and butter. In later years, the family had a stand at the West Side Market.

Gustav Kuchle
about 1884
Gustav was the youngest son of Gebhardt Kuchle. He is probably standing alongside his house and facing south. The muddy road would be Kuchle Street.

Behind the counter of their confectionary store at the corner of West 19th and Denison Ave. where they sold candy, ice cream, and cigars. Date unknown, but Christmas decorations can be seen in the background.
