Biographical Notes:

Kees, appears in the 1900 Cleveland City Directory as one of the partners of "Kees & Co." The other partners were Theodore W. Kees and Charles F. Kees, both of whom were probably his sons. The company was listed as a fire insurance and money brokerage located at 604 Pearl Street.
William was also manager of the Germania Fire Insurance Co. of New York and a land developer of Kees & Bruch's Valley View Allotment with Fred W. Bruch (Fred's wife was: Emma Mohrman).

Residence:

575 Jennings Avenue (pre-1906 addressing, 575 puts the location of his house on what is now known as West 14th St. towards Clark Avenue. Also, as noted in the obituary for his wife, the address after 1906 was 3117 W.14th St.)
