    From 1783 to 1811 he was a farmer in Chatham, Conn. He removed to Euclid, Ohio where he was agent for the sale of lands in and about Cleveland, belonging to Lord and Barber, of Haddam, Conn. He was Judge of the court of Common Pleas from 1817 to 1823.
