    Andrew J. Poe lived his entire life in Newberg T. as a farmer. He was a township clerk and supervisor, a lifelong member of the Baptist church at Poe's Corners. Andrew and 1st wife Jennie lived in her Newberg T. home. Andrew and 3rd wife Anna lived one mile north of Jones, MI.

    88 Herbert and Ethel were farmers during their early years together.
    1912-1916 They operated a Genreal Store in Union City, MI.
    1928 They moved to the village of Jones where Herbert accepted the job of
    Co-op Manager and he remained manager for 11 years, 3 mo;nths.
    1941 They moved to Niles, MI; Herbert was a cabinet maker during WW II.
    1945 The family moved to a farm in Newberg T. after WW II ended.
