Lived in Soldotna, AK in 1993-96. His was the first branch of the Mahnke clan to move to Alaska, not later than 1993. He loved to moved his family somewhere, would return to WY, and then be off again. They once lived in Australia.

Died in Riverton, WY. Buried in Greenhill Cemetery, Laramie, WY, near his mother.
