    The following excerpt from "Genealogical & Family History of Central New York, Vol 1" by William Cutter:
    " In 1854 he went to Illinois and engaged in business as a merchant and banker at Rock Island, and died there, Dec. 3 1860. One of the last acts of his life was to vote for Abraham Lincoln for President".
