    OCCUPATION: Ship's carpenter until he moved to Cleveland, Ohio about 1837, then he engaged in agriculture and dairying at his parent's Brooklyn Heights homestead. He sold this property in 1850 or 1851 and then moved to a residence on Scranton Ave.
