OBIT:
LIONEL DRAYE - The Plain Dealer; Cleveland, Ohio; Aug 24, 1994; Page: 7C
Lionel A. Draye, 76, was an expert in metallurgy. He worked as a foreman for Republic Steel for 36 years, until 1972. When he retired in 1980 he was a foreman at the Ferry Cap and Screw Co. Mr. Draye died Saturday at his home in Parma. He was so well-known for his expertise in metallurgy that 50 years ago The Wall Street Jounal published a photograph of him with the largest and smallest bolts in the country. He had made them both. His skills in metallurgy also got him a position in the Marine Corps' airplane parts repair department in San Diego during World War II. Mr. Draye's wife, Stephanie, died last March. Survivors include a son, Dennis of North Olmsted; daughter, Adrienne Wasko of Stow; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 6750 State Rd., Parma. The Riczo funeral home is in charge of the arrangements.
