OBIT: Date noted on back of holy card "In Pious Memory of Maryann Kosinski (nee Jemiolo) of 115 Gibson St., Buffalo, NY. Died November 11, 1963. Services at Corpus Christi Church November 15, 1963. Interment in St. Stanislaus Cemetary Sec Golgotha #3 - Lot 140 - Grave 3"
TODO: Pictures were found of Walter Kosinski wearing a cowboy outfit (looks real) dated Jan 31, 1937 and another of Stanley Kosinski in a First Holy Communion outfit (undated). Were these Maria's children?
UPDATE (Sep 23, 2003) - Yes, an entry in the 1920 census shows Walter and Josephine. Stanley was probably born later.

IMMIGRATION:
Arrived in U.S. January 24, 1921 at age 20 and single. Port of departure was Triest, Austria, Austria-Hungary on the "Argentina". Name on the manifest listed as "Jemiolo, Rozalija". Destination was her sister's (Maria) house at 104 Gibson Street, Buffalo, New York. On the manifest (image on file), her sister is listed as Maria Kosinska and her mother is listed as Anna Kosinska. The latter doesn't make any sense since Rozalia's surname is Jemiola so her mother's should be too, unless the person filling out the manifest made a mistake or Rozalia misnamed her own mother.

Notes:
Lived at 115 Gibson Street, Buffalo, New York in early 1930's.
Made her First Holy Communion either in 1929 or 15 Aug 1933. Both dates appear on the back of the communion picture.
Spoke with Danny on 25 Mar 2002. He remarried in 1995. He says that Jadwiga Jemiola and Josephine's mother were cousins but he wasn't positive if Josephine's mother was a Jemiola or a Kolis. Suggested contacting her brother, Stanley, of 1250 Bailey Ave., Buffalo, NY 14206 1-716-896-5543 for more information. I tried calling but got no answer.
