Notes:
Date of death not known. She married Mr. Robert Christy, a veteran of theWar of 1812. Mr. Christy died at 79, on March 12, 1874 and is buried atWest Sunbury. She survived her husband.
In listing the children , the 1909 History of Butler Co. gives 4. But inthe cemetery, there are is a fifth, by the headstones, which the historydoes not mention. (Sara J.) The listing is not necessarily in order.

Regarding William (4A44), Mrs. Belle Glenn of West Sunbury recalled thathe sold the family farm to a cousin, and "sold his mother along with thefarm." The mother, Martha, remained on the farm with the new owner. Shevery likely is buried in the family lot with her husband and children,although there is no marker for her. As per Series 4.
It is evident from the inscription on one of the headstones that the sonDickson (Dixon) is buried elsewhere. According to the Butler CountyHistory, he was mustered into the Army on December 7, 1861, and died atAnnapolis, Md on January 6, 1865. A soldier of the Civil War. As perSeries 4.
