On the 14th Oct 1746, Hannah Chapman,granddaughter, and Andrew Chapman, her husband gave receipt for thelegacy in the will of her grandfather, Caleb Pendleton, which he had madeto granddaughter Hannah Smith (Westerly C & P Rec., iii, 331).
