    Dr. Main was raised on a farm and educated in public schools. When hewas twenty he began the study of medicine under Dr. McCann in Delaware,Ohio. In 1877 he entered the Columbus Medical College and graduated 28Feb 1879. He practiced at Bryan, Williams Co., Ohio for five years thenmoved to Delaware, Ohio where he had a general practice.
