    Charles Yerington, 58, 113 E. 8th St., died suddenly Sunday at his home.

    Services are Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Home. The Rev. Charles Gannon will officiate. Pallbearers are Kevin Yerington, Brian Yerington, Jim Yerington, John Yerington, Dick Yerington and Dave Brockert.

    Visitation is Tuesday afternoon and evening at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Rock Island Arsenal Cemetery.

    Mr. Yerington was born June 26, 1928 in Muscatine, a son of Charles W. and Gertrude Everett Yerington. He was a lifelong resident. He married Dulcia Miller on Aug. 15, 1949 in Muscatine. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and had retired from employment at the Rock Island Arsenal.

    Survivors include his wife; his mother of Muscatine; four brothers, Donald Yerington, John Yerington, Leo Yerington, and James Yerington, all of Muscatine; two sisters, Mrs. Keith (Kathleen) Brockert and Gertrude Yerington, both of Muscatine.

    He was preceded in death by his father in 1976.
