    Thomas came to America in the "Lyon" in Dec. 1630. He arrived in Boston,Mass. on Feb. 5, 1631, going soon to Salem. In the winter of 1635, hewas a Seekonk, RI. Thomas made the settlement at Providence in 1636. Hesigned the CVompact on Aug. 20, 1637, signed an agreement for a form ofGov. for the colony in 1640.
