Your grandfather, Walter Jozefkowicz, spelled his name as Wladislaw, before coming to the U.S. His birthday was 8-11-1879. He married Bertha Witwer, dob 6-3-1882, on 1-18-1901, in St. Casimer's church in Cleveland, OH. They lived, briefly, in Muncie IN, when your grandfather was a little boy. Bertha's birth name was Bernice, but someone at immigration decided she should be Bertha and changed that record. She told me this when I was 10 years old, so I don't doubt it at all. Your grandfather's middle name was Maximillian, do you have that listed? Your Aunt Carol told me that when your cousin, Jimmy, was born.
