EDWARD C. CHMURA, age 87, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008. Edward was a U.S. Marine Corp Staff Sgt. during W.W. II and received the Purple Heart. He had 41 years of service at Ohio Bell Telephone. Beloved husband of 60 years of Doris (nee Samson); dear father of Katherine M., Michael, Peggy (Robert) Krall, Nancy (Daniel) Fioramonti and Patrick (Laura); grand-father of Emma, Addie, Hannah, Katy, Joel, Evan, Daniel, Andrew, Michael, Matthew, Joseph, Jonathon and Annemarie; brother of Jean Gertz and the late Stella, Louis and Theodore. Known as "Mr. Fantastic" to all his friends at Bob Evans. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Jan. 18, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Bartholomew Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
