ADELLA H. BROUSSEAU - LEDYARD - Adella Henry Brousseau, 78, of 95 GallupHill Road, died yesterday at the Lawrence and Memorial Hospitals, NewLondon.
He was born in Willington, Oct. 8, 1907, the son of the late HenryL. and Amelia (Lafleur) Brousseau.
Mr. Brousseau was married to Rachel Pierce, Dec. 12, 1927. Shesurvives him.
He was retired in 1973 from Electric Boat, Groton, having worked inthe testing department.
Suvivors include his wife; three sons, Harry Brousseau of GalesFerry, Wallace Brousseau of Ledyard, and Thomas Brousseau of Boomsville,N.Y.; two daughters, Emma Alberhamson of Preston and Norma Allen of GalesFerry; one brother, Clement Brousseau of Woodyhill, R.I.; one sister, EvaBurton of Ledyard; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and manynieces and nephews.
The Gales Ferry Funeral Home of Church and Allen, Hurlbut Road,Gales Ferry is in Charge of arrangements.
Died March 1996.

NORMA IRENE ALLEN
Norma Irene Allen, 69, of 983-R Long Cove Road, Gales Ferry, mother ofJoyce Allen of Pawcatuck, died Thursday, Aug. 12, 1999, at Lawrence &Memorial Hospital in New London.
Born Dec. 18, 1929, in Ledyard, she was a daughter of Rachel(Pierce) Brousseau of Ledyard and the late Adella Brousseau.
She married Paul C. Allen in Mystic on Oct. 8, 1953. He died Jan.25, 1995.
Mrs. Allen was a sales associate at the former Vality Store in GalesFerry and after the store closed, went to work at Marshall's in NewLondon.
She was a member of the Women's Bowling League at the Holiday Bowlin Groton.
In addition to the daughter in Pawcatuck and her mother, she issurvived by two sons, Paul D. Allen of Groton and Mark J. Allen of GalesFerry; two more daughters, Cynthia Kneelandd and Donna Collins, both ofGales Ferry; three brothers, Harry Bousseau of Gales Ferry, WallaceBrousseau of Ledyard, and Thomas Brousseau of Jewett City; a sister, EmmaAbrahamson of Preston; ten grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Elm GroveCemetery in Mystic. There ae no calling hours. Byles-Groton MemorialHome, 310 Thames St., Groton, is in charge of arrangements.
