1) Name - RRW has name Lynda; also, RRW had AKA Melinda. Lynda is
the way it appears in her Father's will, butthe cert. birth record
(below) has her born as LINDA.
2) DOD - extrapolatedfrom Father Ithamar Rowley's will, in which
she is stated to be deceased andher husband George Gates signs
Guardianship papers to represent the 4 minor (of a total of 8) children.
I cannot ascertain from the papers, where they were living, other than
that it may have been in the area, as George signed several papers as
Guardian, and all of the dates are close to the dates of the signatures
of other heirs known to be living in and near Schoharie Co.
3) I have yet to search for her death/burial records, but am
assuming it was in thesame area, Schoharie/Otsego Counties, NY
4) Certified copy of birth record from East Hampton, CT
Linda Daughter to Ithamer and Demmis Rowley was Born 13th of
December AD 1784

On 3/14/1830 Anna Gates signed servicepapers, giving residence
at Rome, Oneida Co., NY (this was also given as residence of her Uncle
Martin Rowley). She was apparently unmarried at the timeand it is not
known if she ever married. Anna was not a minor when will probated,
therefore, est. dob & dod as shown.

hopelessly illegible.
