Miss Laura Spice and Mr. George Schaetz, both of LittleRiver, were married Tuesday morning, November 20, at 10 o'clock, by Rev. Fr. Selbach, at St. Joseph's parsonage, Oconto. The bride was attended by her sister,Miss Nellie, and the groom's sister, while Mr. George Kinzinger and the groom's brother acted as best men. After the ceremony the bridal party drove to Little River where a wedding dinner was served at 2 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Spice. After congratulations had been extended,Mr. Kinzinger arose and announced to the guests that he and the bride's sister, Miss Nellie, had been quietly married, at Menomonie the day before and produced his marriage certificate as evidence. It was a surprise all around and a double wedding reception was tendered the young couples. Mrs. Schetz and Mrs. Kinzinger are sisters of Mrs. George Trepanier of this place.
