He m, April 12, 1835, Emeliza Pritchard of Litchfield, Conneticut. Children: Marshall Stanley Moses b at Wolcottville, Conn, Feb. 18, 1836; Richard James Moses b at Herkimer, NY, Dec 6, 1838, d Oct 1, 1874; DeWitt Smith Moses b at Morrisville, NY October 10, 1858.

His grave was locatedat Lakeview Cemetery, on top of the hill to the right. He is buried with Pritchard and King families, possibly in Section 5. Other graves in the area.
