Thanks for your email and information. You ask me where I fit into the
family tree. My family name is Grasela. I'm polish branch Grasela's family
tree.My grandfather Karol Grasela and Michael Grasela was brothers. All
brothers and sisters of my grandpa migrated to USA, only my grandpa stayed
and lived in Poland.
Our family in Poland is very small. Sometimes I think about my family from
USA. I remember Josephine, she was very good woman. She often helped my
parents.I remember Roman,Dolores and Sanfilippo.We have family in
Philadelphia to.

DEATH: Died from 2nd degree burns suffered while playing with a candle.

OBIT: ROMAN JAMES "IRON HEAD" GRASELA, age 71. Born Feb. 16, 1935, died suddenly on Nov. 14, 2006. Jim was a man with a "Golden Heart", who dearly loved his entire family. Beloved son of Michael and Josephine (both deceased); brother of John (deceased), Marie Kaczmarek (Frank), (both deceased), Jean Grochow-ski (Ben) (both deceased), Bernice Sanfilippo (James) (both deceased), Stanley (deceased) (Harriet), Lillian Pruchnicki (Eugene), Joseph (deceas-ed) (Virginia), Cecelia Tes-mer (Frank, deceased), Dorothy (deceased), Ralph (Frances), Dolores Szcze-panik (Adam, deceased) and Richard (Sandra); beloved godfather, uncle, great-uncle, great-great-uncle of many nieces and nephews. Jim was a U.S. Army Veteran, retired letter carrier, 4th degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a dedicated usher at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Funeral ser-vice Monday, Nov. 20, 9:30 a.m. at KOMOROWSKI, A GOLDEN RULE FUNERAL HOME, 4105 E. 71 ST. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church.
