MRS. EMMA FISH DEAD
Was Wife of Well Known Retired Business Man of Milan
MILAN, August 8. One of the most respected residents of this village (this line was repeated a second time), a retired business man (which was misprinted I'm assuming cause the title says wife of...), passed away at her home this morning at five o'clock at the age of 65 years. Death was due to a complication of diseases. Mrs. Fish had not been in good health for some time but it was only recently that it was thought her condition ???????? (can't read two lines of article)??? survived by three sons: Carl, of Los Angeles, who was at her bedside at the time of her death, Fred, of Ames, Iowa and Roy of this place. The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. Rev. Conden, of the Universalist church Norwalk, officiating.
HOME FOR MOTHER'S FUNERAL
Prof. F. A. Fish, at the head of the electrical engineering department of the Iowa State College at Ames, Iowa, was in the city Wednesday on route to Milan, where he was summoned on account of the death of his mother, Mrs. A.M. Fish. Prof. Fish is a graduate of the Ohio State University, class of 1898.
MILAN. - The funeral of Mrs. A. M. Fish who passed to the great beyond on Tuesday, Aug 8th, bravely and unflinchingly, as she had done everything in life, was held from the cozy suburban home in East Milan on Thursday last, August 10. Rev. Couden of the Norwalk Universalist church officiating and many loving friends being present to testify to her worth and support the loved ones left behind, in their time of grief. The entire funeral arrangements and service were carried out along the lines of simplicity so much in keeping with the life of the deceased who believed in "deeds rather than creeds" and "action rather than words." The eloquent and impressive truths spoken by Rev. Couden were a comfort not only to the bereaved relatives but to all who heard them.
Emily Marie Graves, daughter of Murray and Cynthia Graves, was born at North Amherst, O., October 3, 1846, and her girlhood days were spent in Berlinville where she grew up to beautiful womanhood. In 1870 she met Albert M. Fish and an attachment sprung up between the two which re???????????????.....???? (can't read) down in Milan where their entire married life has been spent. As a result of this happy union three sons were born to them as follows: Fred A. Fish now of Ames, Iowa, Carl W. of Los Angeles, Cal., and Ray (Roy?) M. of Milan, all of whom are married and who with their wives were present when the final dissolution came. So ends, or rather is transformed, an exemplary life for, in every department of life she was "true to her trust". An exemplary and devoted mother and wife strong and true in friendships and a philanthropist who never told of her charities she will ??????? (can't read)...mediate family who have the sympathy of the entire community in their grief, but by a multitude of friends as well. Many beautiful floral offerings were presented by loving friends and relatives. The pallbearers were as follows: I. W. Hoover, Levi Roscoe, Henry Seaman, F. A. Kelley, Fred Roberts and Madison Mixter. Interment was in Milan cemetery.

There is a record of a Roy Fish who was born in Milan, Ohio marrying Augusta Sommerschield (b2 JUN 1891 in Norwalk, Ohio) on Feb 4, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio so suspicion is that Ada died/divorced and he re-married. There may be more children here! Also need to see if death cert. is available.

Obituary:
DEATH BY CHOKING WAS INFANT'S FATE
Piece From Bamboo Mat is Swallowed By Fish Child of Milan
MILAN, O., Dec. 10. - (Special) - Death by choking after swallowing a small piece from a bamboo mat was the fate meted out to the ten months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Fish, Thursday midnight. The infant, while playing, put the stuff in its mouth late in the afternoon. Drs. Gill of Norwalk were summoned and worked over the patient until recovery seemed reasonably sure. They left early in the evening. At midnight the infant passed away. Whether death was due in the presence of some of the bamboo in the mouth, or to the resulting irritation is not known. The Fish family is one of the best known and most prominent here. The infant is survived by the parents and a three year old daughter. Mrs. Fish is prostrated by her loss.
The funeral of little Robert Malcom Fish, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Fish, who died a tragic death by choking, Friday, was held at the Fish home west of Milan Sunday afternoon. Rev. H. C. Cunningham officiated. The services were tender and impressive, and truly appropriate to the memory of the pure little life thus rudely terminated. A feeling of genuine sympathy and sorrow was manifested among the assemblage of close friends and neighbors, who gathered to mingle their tears with those of the grief stricken parents. Following the ceremony at the home the remains were tenderly conveyed to the Milan cemetery where interment was made.
