1 NOTE From email from William Alfred Robison:
The only information that Ihave on Alfred Orson, mygrandfather, was from talking to my grandmother (Helen). Hewas a farmer and a butcher. Apparently, when he wasn't workingthe farm,he was a butcher somewhere in Allegheny State Park. She said that he died out inthe farm field. She remarriedtwice. Mr. Carlberg, whom I never heard aboutand ArthurWinquist who I do remember. Like you, I also miss myGrandmother. Ifondly remember the days we visited her on thefarm and later on just swingingon her front porch swing. Sheworked in a supermarket in Salamanca (Loblaws) prior to herretirement in the meat dept. After her last husband died, myfamilymoved onto the farm which was on the Killbuck NY backroad (between 219 and old17). We farmed it for a few years, but it was tough making a living on 30 milking cows. My father,Willis, worked on the Erie Lackawanna Railroad and then atAVMSignore division in Ellicottville.
