  1. Jeremiah SELBY b. 9 Dec 1745; d. 15 Sep 1811, Pultneyville, Ny; bur. Lakeview Cem., Williamson, Ny.

    Notes:
    Jeremiah and Sarah and their seven children left East Haddam in 1800. They left in a small mud boat, of his own construction, and went to a point ab out one and one-half miles west of Palmyra, NY on Mud Creek. Here he located and built a grist mill. About the year 1805 he moved to Pultneyville, NY, where he built and operated a grist mill and saw mill until his death in 1811.
