    Joseph & Demmie moved to Tama Co., Iowa, but a short time laterreturned to Delaware Co., for three years while he farmed. They moved toJefferson Co., Illinois but was disappointed in the area, turned aroundwithout even unloading his wagon and returned to Marion Co., Ohio wherehe purchased a farm. In 1895 he owned 300 acres of land and fifty heardof cattle and was ranked one of the "substantial men of his communtiy."
