    Guardianship papers signed Martin Gates on 5/3/1830. Therefore, dod
    estimated aft. that date. On the service papers signed Martin Gates on
    3/12/1830, no residence is given, but must have been in the area, as
    dates are close to same which other heirs signed who where known to have
    been living in the area. eg., Sharon.

    On 3/14/1830 Anna Gates signed servicepapers, giving residence
    at Rome, Oneida Co., NY (this was also given as residence of her Uncle
    Martin Rowley). She was apparently unmarried at the timeand it is not
    known if she ever married. Anna was not a minor when will probated,
    therefore, est. dob & dod as shown.
