    Her father, John Taber, married (1) Tiverton (intention), 13 JAN 1726/7, Mary Sisson of Dartmouth; married (2) Tiverton, 8 MAY 1731, Abigail Lake, born Tiverton, 13 MAY 1713, daughter of Thomas, Jr. and Lydia (Fischer) Lake. John died 1756 and Abigail married (2) in Tiverton, 18 OCT 1761, Capt. Richard Hart.
    Due to the marriage date of 1745, Elizabeth was probably born before 1731 and hence a daughter of John and Mary (Sisson) Tabor.
