Mrs. Dr. Badger, notice of whose serious sickness had been givenin these columns, died early last Sunday morning, June 6th, atthe advanced age of 72 years, leaving her husband and onedaughter, Mrs. Holiday, of Kansas City, Missouri, she being theonly child living. The Dr. and Mrs. Badger were among theearliest settlers in this part of the country, coming here inthe year 1872 and saw this country rise from a wilderness to arichly settled country and were known and respected by every onewho now deeply sympathize with the bereft husband who is leftalone in his declining years. The funeral occurred from thehome Monday, at two o'clock, conducted by Elder Babcock and Rev.Miles, with interment in the North Loup Cemetery.

W. B. Maxson, who had been in ill health a number of years, diedat his home in Miltonearly Wednesday morning. Funeral serviceswill be held in the Seventh Day Baptist church, Milton, Fridayat 2 p. m., Rev. Carroll L. Hill officiating and beingassistedby Dr. Edwin Shaw of Milton and Rev. C. W. Thorngate of Albion.Burialwill be in Milton Cemetery.
William Benjamin Maxson, son of Horatio and SarahCarr Maxson,was born Feb. 5, 1865, on a farm near Milton Junction. HeattendedMilton college and in 1892 opened a hardware store inMilton. On. Jan. 3, 1894,he married Myrtle Bolser of Albionwho died nineteen years ago.
He was a member of the Seventh Day Baptist church andrepresented Milton as a supervisor on the county board justafter the Village was organized. He was a good musician andanexcellent flutist.
Survivors are two sons, Rolland, Milton, and Charles, Farina,Ill.; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Rodolph of Flint, Mich., andMrs. John Thorngate, Eau Claire; and several grandchildren.

William Benjamin Maxson, son of Horatio and Sarah Carr Maxson,born February 5, 1865 near Milton Junction, Wis., died inMilton, April29, 1936.
On January 3, 1894, he was joined in marriage to Myrtle Bolserof Albion, who preceded him in death. To this union were bornfour children. Mr. Maxson was for years proprietor of ahardware store in Milton, and once represented Milton as asupervisor on the county board. He was a member of the MiltonSeventh Day Baptist Church and a trustee of Milton College.
Funeral services wereheld in the Milton seventh Day BaptistChurch Friday, May 1, conducted by pastorCarroll L. Hill whowas assisted by Rev. Edwin Shaw of Milton, and Pastor C. W.Thorngate of Albion. Interment was in Milton cemetery.
