    OBITUARY

    MRS. ELLEN SHAFT (THRALL)VAN GUILDER

    Ellen Shaft Van Guilder was born at Owasso, Michigan, June 11,1856 and departed this life at Detroit Michigan, February 5, 1930.

    In 1871 she was married to George Thrall, and the first eight years of their married life were spent in Erie county Ohio. In 1879 they moved to Eaton county Michigan,and lived in Potterville, where Mr. Thrall was engaged in business. Thirty years ago they moved to Charlotte, where after nine years, Mr. Thrall was called home. To this union, six children were born, five girls and one son, Mrs. LillianEggleston of Charlotte; Mrs. Dora Pearson of Detroit; Mrs. Lora Canfield of Lansing; Mrs. Jennie Thompson of Charlotte; Mrs. Mary Eakin, who died several years ago, and who at the time of her death lived in Dewey, Oklahoma; and the oneson George Thrall of Charlotte.

    Twenty-one years ago in January, Mr. Thrallwas called to his reward. In 1912 she was united in marriage to T. S. Van Guilder, of Metamora, Michigan, where she lived until the death last May of Mr. VanGuilder, since which time she has made her home with her children. She leaves to mourn their loss, her children mentioned, 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grand children, three step-children, Eric and Seymour Van Guilder, of Metamora, and Mrs. Minnie Peas, of Lansing, together with a large circle of other relatives andmany friends, who will always cherish her memory.

    The funeral services wereheld at the Myron E. Pray funeral home in Charlotte, Friday afternoon at two o'clock, February 7, 1930. Rev. R. J. Field of the Baptist church officiated. Interment in Potterville cemetery.

    OBITUARY

    GEORGE H. THRALL

    CHARLOTTE-George H. Thrall, 72, died athis Walton Township farm home Saturday of a heart ailment following an illnessof several years. He was born May 29, 1884, in Potterville, the son of Mr. andMrs. George H Thrall. He was first married in 1906 to Miss Mabel Bolock, whosedeath occurred in 1936, and secondly, in 1941, to Mrs. Ethel Carter, who survives. Mr. Thrall was an employee of the Pontiac Motor in Pontiac from 1923 until1940 and has been engaged in farming in Walton Township since 1940. Other survivors are a son, Garner of Lansing, Two daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Town of GrandRapids and Mrs. Martha Evelyn Cameron of Marshall, Ill., and four grandchildren. The body is at the Pray Funeral Home.

    OBITUARY

    FORMER CHARLOTTE MAN DIES AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS

    Funeral services were held yesterday (Wednesday) at 2 P.M. for Harold Allen Thrall, 48, of Holly, at the Pray funeral home with Rev. Earl Thomas of the United Brethren church officiating. Hewas born Jan. 4, 1909 in Charlotte, the son of George H. and Mable A (Bolock)Thrall living here until 1926. He died in Hurley hospital, Flint, Monday forenoon where he had been a patient for two weeks.

    Surviving are the father, Geo.Thrall, of Walton township; a brother, Leo Garner Thrall, of Lansing; two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Town, of Grand Rapids, and Mrs. Paul (Evelyn) Cameron of Marshall, Ill. Interment was in Maple Hill cemetery, Charlotte.

    OBITUARY

    CAMERON, MRS. EVELYN

    1480 Franklin St., Muskegon, MI.

    Mrs. Evelyn Cameron passed away at her residence Thursday afternoon very unexpectedly, age 49 years. She was born in Charlotte, Michigan on September 13, 1920 where she was raised and educated. Later lived in Norristown, Pennsylvania.The former Miss Evelyn Thrall was married in 1947 to Mr. Paul Cameron who preceded her in death in 1957. Mrs. Cameron is survived by one son Michael at home,one sister, Mrs. Genevieve Town of Grand Rapids, and one brother Mr. Garner Thrall of Lansing, Michigan. The Memorial Service for Mrs. Cameron will begin at 1o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Balbirnie-Apostle Chapel, with Rev. Mr. Floyd Fitch officiation, and the interment will be in Mona View Cemetery. Mrs. Cameron will lie in state at the Mortuary.

    Evelyn served in the UnitedStates Army "Women's Army Corps" during World War II.

    The infant babygirl of Mr. and Mrs. George Thrall died at their home on Prairie street Wednesday, October 4, at the age of three days. Interment was at Maple Hill cemetery.
