    Notes:
    Name Suffix: Captain
    !He marched with the E. Hartford company for the relief of Boston in April 1775. Afterwards he was a captain in the China trade.

    The city of North Olmsted in Cuyahoga County, Ohio was named after Aaron as he was the principle investor in Township 6 Range 15 as a wealthy merchant of East Hartford, Connecticut. Because he died before the land could be deeded to him, his son, Charles Hyde Olmsted, took over his holdings. He offered 500 books for a library if the town were named after his father. Charles never lived there, either.
