Funeral Saturday
Funeral services for Egbert Franklin Hook, 77, resident of Lincoln for 18 years, who died at his home, 1949 Vine street Thursday morning, will be held at Umberger's chapel at 2:30 p.m., Saturday. Rev. W. P. Hill will officiate.
Mr. Hook was born at Madison, Wis., and had been a resident of Nebraska for 35 years. At one time, he farmed in Nemaha county, and later he operated a meat market at Brownville.
Surviving are his wife, Matilda; three daughters, Mrs. Claude Anderson of Auburn, Mrs. Joseph Parriott of Elmwood, and Mrs. Ernest Rezac of Lincoln; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

LOGAN--Graveside services for Emmett F. "Bud" Hook, 81, of Council Bluffs will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at the Logan Cemetery in Logan with the Rev. Rusty Hedger officiating.
Mr. Hook died Dec. 15 at Community Care North.
He was born in Nebraska City, Neb. He served in the Army during World War II, and worked as a machinist for the railroad until his retirement.
Survivors include two daughters, Linda Henricks and Peggy Ann Moore both of Council Bluffs; a son, Tom Billman, of Kansas City, Mo.; and a niece.
Schumacher Funeral Home in Logan is in charge of arrangements.

Per conversation with Donna Paul, she believes he was married a couple times but did not have any children. He was married to the first wife about 10 years, and the second, about 2 years. Believes one of them did have children. And that one of the daughters wrote to Ernest Rezac shortly after Buddy died.

Howard F. Anderson
Howard F. Anderson of 1201 Springfield Drive died Oct. 24, 1982, at Poudre Valley Hospital. He was 70 years old.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church. Pastors Robert Johnson and John Pederson will officiate. Burial will be in Grandview Cemetery.
Mr. Anderson was born on May 8, 1912, in Brownville, Neb.
He married Evelyn A. (Plager) Anderson on Sept. 23, 1939, in Auburn, Neb. She survives. They moved here from Nebraska 21 years ago.
Mr. Anderson was a retired machinist with Heath Engineering and a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. He served in the Army in World War II.
Other survivors are: two daughters, Mary L. Stegner and Helen Widmier, both of Fort Collins; a sister Hila Porter of Oakland, Neb.; a brother William F. Anderson of Des Moines, Iowa; and four grandchildren.
