Preceded in death by brother, Ed Parriott. Services: 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Butherus, Maser &Love Funeral Home, 4040 A St. The Rev. Luke Schnake. Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation: 9 a.m.-9 p.m. today, with family 6-7:30 p.m., funeral home. No viewing Thursday. Memorials: Capital Humane Society or Nebraska Stroke Foundation.

    Per Donna Paul, he had a garage in Elmwood and fixed cars. He also owned a hangar and a couple of planes. One time he took his uncle, Ernie Rezac, up in a two-seater and did all kinds of turns and flips, with a broken seat belt!
