St. Barbara's Church on Denison Ave. in Cleveland, Ohio
Cornerstone
The cornerstone for the new church was laid May 27, 1951.
Church Dedication
The church building on Denison Avenue was dedicated on July 25, 1952.
25th Anniversary
NOTE: It is unclear what the 25th Anniversary was in celebration of. The church was founded in 1905, and the interior of the hall is clearly that of the newer church building which was constructed in 1951. This anniversary may have been celebrating Father Jarosz's 25 years as a priest, or 25 years as pastor. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable could tell us what the occasion was.
