HISTORY
- Designed by Cleveland architect, John W. Dolman[1] (1867-1925), Brooklyn Centre's firehouse was built in 1894 at the corner of Pearl Street and Terrance St. In modern terms that is the corner of West 25th St. and Willowdale Ave.
- Opened in the late 1890's, it was one of 25 firehouses in the city at that time. Also in the area were several signal boxes that residents could use to notify the firemen of a fire.
