Located on Garden Avenue (earlier known as Grand Army of the Republic Street).
The property for the "Brooklyn Centre Burying Ground" was initially owned by Ebenezer Fish, Jr. (1787-1880) and sold to Brooklyn School District Nine in 1836.
Ebenezer owned in total, 79 acres of Lot 65 (Township 7, Range 13) on the northern side of Newburgh Street (now known as Denison Avenue which he bought in 1818.
