The following was on a page found in the folder labeled "Edgerton Holmden" of the Ruth Ketteringham Collection. It was most likely written by Martha Philena Holmden Ganyard, granddaughter of Martha and Ezekiel Edgerton, and daughter of Electa Jane Edgerton Holmden.
- "Mother's home was built in 1872 was owned by my granparents. Martha and Ezekiel Edgerton both born in the U.S.A. of English desent [sic].
