From Brooklyn Centre Wiki

Eighth Reformed Church on Willowdale Avenue
Built in 1909 in the Mission/Spanish Revival style
Architect: Matzinger,Paul
Early on, Rev. Herman Reutenik organized a Sunday School mission but with no home of its own, space was borrowed from a couple of other area churches such as the Archwood Congregational Church and Brooklyn Methodist. Eventually a chapel was built on Willowdale Avenue which at the time, in 1888, was still known as Terrace Street. The German congregation organized as the Eighth Reformed Church.
